The Msgr. Joseph C. Ansaldi Memorial Prize

Purpose

The Msgr. Joseph C. Ansaldi Scholarship was founded in 2016 after the passing of the beloved chaplain of The Minty Organization, Msgr. Joseph C. Ansaldi. While principal of St. Joseph-by-the-Sea High School, Msgr. Ansaldi oversaw the construction of a state-of-the-art auditorium for the school’s performing arts department. Throughout his tenure at Sea, and later as Chaplain of Msgr. Farrell High School, St. Joseph Hill Academy, and St. Peter’s Boys High School, Msgr. Ansaldi was a strong supporter of the Arts and of the students involved in the Arts. This award was created to support and recognize those students, who through their Catholic education, Christian example, and dedication to the Performing Arts, carry on the spirit of Msgr. Ansaldi.
